Katy first found yoga as a child when she struggled with anxiety and insomnia. It wasn’t until graduate school when she was striving to try something new that counterbalanced the stress of her career in the mental health field that she truly became captivated by the healing powers of yoga and mindfulness. Katy became immersed in yoga, not only for its physical benefits but also for its psychological impact both on and off the mat. Katy completed her first teacher training in 2016 at Kindness Yoga and is certified in Vinyasa, Restorative, and Kids yoga.
